VIDEO ART: Karen Criswell/KONCEPT FILMS
In exploring the visual medium of storytelling for her production company, Koncept Films, Producer/Director Karen Criswell often found herself “stumbling” into a photograph: that magical moment when the story begins, ends, escalates, or changes track.
With her eclectic background in opera, performance art, political theater, and music, Karen was destined to fall in love with the poetic beauty of a moment captured by a lens.
As she continues to pursue her passion for photography and video art installations, Karen is grateful for those who guide her way and the elements of the world that engage her imagination. Karen is in the process of curating, posting, and organizing several of her collections of photographs from her travels, and her video art installations; DE-RAILED, CHASING SPRING, and FROST & FIRE.
